My free zonealarm stops 200 intrusions a day when my Norton used to block 2 or 3, why are they attacking ME??LOL

But really how mny intrusions do you get a day?

Is there a way to reduce them?

Bally

Tell us more. What are these intrusions!

Ignore them, most of it's irrelevant internet connection pinging and quite harmless. The only thing the warnings do is cause rampant paranoia, so you may as well turn them off.

I think firewall intrusion reports are similar to advertising jargon that says ' Kills 99% of all known germs' or totally meaningless, I have just had a look at my Zone alarm & all reports are off.

Had 400 alerts in one 30 min session.

Absolutely nothing to worry about - just indicates that ZA is doing its job.

Belatucadrus is perfectly correct in his/her posting..:-)
