Have you disabled flash thru Spywareblaster or any other utility?

I'm having exactly the same problem - crazy thing is that it used to be OK! There must be a simple solution to this - mustn't there?

I often get this after I use RegScrubXP and accept all the repair suggestions it gives. RegScrubXP gets this plain wrong.

As a solution I go to Add\Remove Programs and uninstall Adobe Flash 9 ActiveX. After, I go back to the youtube page, follow the link to installing Flash, return to the youtube page and all is well.

Works for me - hopefully it works for you too.
