HelloMy 6 week old PC running xp pro suddenly started freezing and giving blue screens.I have done a system restore with no luck, I have not installed any new hardware or software.The first line of the blue screen refers to shutting down to avoid damage to the system.But the second line says "DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL"Does this mean anything to anyone?Thank youRichard

if you can get into safe mode, roll back the driver if you know what it is of course! Also did you install Feb updates from 10th Feb onwards? update KB977165 has resulted in blue screens - not necessarily a Microsoft fault because some hard drives are infected by a rootkit. click here
