xxcopy no longer an option ?

Has anyone got any advice for me with regards
to replacing my hardrive to a larger one and transferring ALL data to my new hardrive, i read that xxcopy doesnt work. ( win98se )

I'm afraid I must disagree.
I use xxcopy weekly to clone my C:\ drive to my D:\ drive and have never had a problem with it so far. Post back if you would like any further info.
I can only assume that the person who says it doesn't work can't be using it properly.
There is plenty of good info on the web site.

xcopy has known issues with long filenames.

xxcopy doesn't suffer from the same problems.

Some people don't even know that there are two versions of the program, so they confuse the problems of one with the other.

It's not my preferred method of backup, but it seems to work well for a lot of people.

I would suggest Drive Copy which is included in Drive Image (Powerquest)
