XP systems problems - suggestion

I don't suppose main circuit boards fail very often, but my motherboard recently "died". For some months I have been having a series of unexplainable faults. I have come to the conclusion that most were due to the fact that the circuitboard was gradually failing for now that it has been replaced - for a relatively modest price - all appears to be well. Anyone having persistent faults might find it worthwhile checking hardware if problems become a thorough nuisance - just a suggestion which might save a lot of frustration and wasted time.

Yes, I agree. Some faults are hard to track down and can be caused by failing mobo.
