message i get when trying to do a restore.can anyone help please.
System Restore" (changes made to drive c:\ after
this point cannot be reversed because the drive was either
excluded from system restore monitoring,or was turned off
or removed)..
I have never had this before.

have you ever switched off system restore? and then turned it back on? This will delete restore points

This is quite a common problem.
Type in system restore in the search box at the top of the page.

4 for this week already. I have had similar experience and don't use it any more.

I would rather back up than use restore. The most common way to fix this is to switch it off and reboot then switch it on again. Only problem is you lose all your restore points.

You could try running it in safe mode.
