When the PC boots ,its start to check the C: drive for errors.

XP was installed a few months ago

No CHKDSK has been scheduled.

Any ideas please?

Maybe try running one yourself.
That may get rid of it starting all the time when you boot up.
remember you will need to run it once and let it finish then hope that fixes it.

Just in case.

My Computer.
Right click C drive and then press properties.
Check now.
And tick both boxes and allow it to run on start up.
