www.shortcut in desktop task bar

I have a shortcut in the taskbar of my desktop. The www. link goes to the home page of Security Protect which keeps popping up saying that my computer is infected by various viruses and urging me to download their programme to rectify this situation. I have tried scanning with AdAware, Spybot and Norton anti virus but none of these find the problem. How can I get rid of this?

Don't open it.Someone will come along shortly with the fix for it.
