Writing to CD-RW disks within Explorer

I have a CD re-writer and, at the moment, the only way I put data onto disks is by using Nero.

This is fine for CD-R but it would be nice to be able to write/delete stuff from CD-RW disks from within Explorer. I am sure that sometime in the past I have been doing this.

If I try to do anything at the moment it just say that it is read only.

Anyone know what I need to do or if there's an extra bit of software I need?

I think that you need to have Nero InCD (or other "packet writing" software) installed; that way you can use a CD-RW like a floppy.

Roxio have DirectCD but I gave up using it as it sometimes throws a wobbly and makes a CD or directory on a CD unreadable.

If you have Nero use InCD click here you will need to format CD-RW disk with InCd B4 use.

If you have win XP I would suggest the win XP CD-ROM Recording program is disabled
