i have a problem, this never used to occur.

just bought a psp go and a ipod shuffle, tried plugging both into usb ports and it trys to install drivers but it doesnt work. It then says it may not work correct, (bottom right). It used to work, only recently it hasnt. trying to do itunes with ipod shuffle and download games for my psp go.

1. Do not post your email in open forums you will be "spammed to death".

2. What operating system?

3. Refresh USB Ports
Use Drive clean up to remove USB device drive info from the registry
click here
In device manager Uninstall EVERYTHING under the heading USB,
reboot the PC let XP find and install new hardware.
Your equipment should now be recognised.

Should also work for vista or W7

Download and use USB device view click here to remove ALL usb devices then reboot and retry.

Worth a try :With iPod plugged in open XP in safe mode and try installing drivers for i pod (Open Device Manager, then go to iPod, install drivers)

Keep tapping f8 as you start and select safe mode. Also, with iPod plugged in, does it show in "Device Manager"? and are there any little yellow warning triangles in the list in Device manager?
