Can any one tell me if you can convert Microsoft works word docs to word docs?

The version of Word that is shipped with MS Works.

The word processor included within MS Works.

In Word 2000, you can open a Works 4.0 for Windows document. Select Open in Word and in the Files of Type box scroll down to find Works 4.0 for Windows (.wps). When the document is open save it as a Word doc. You didn't say which versions you have.

As a last resort you can save documents in Works as text files (.txt). This strips out all the formatting but at least you have the text. Text files will load into most word processors.
