Is there anything I can use to learn how to use Microsoft Word and Excel properly and do I have to buy Excel, (which is expensive to buy) or can I download a version, I already have Word on my Computer.

to learn goto your library and borrow "microsoft office insideout" an excellent book easy to follow covers for all beginner to intermediate user. the book also has an interactive cd in the rear to practice with if previous users hav'nt damaged it.

Excel would have to be paid for. You could always try Open Office, which is free.
