WLAN Router/AP to AP as Repeater Probs

  diaz 20:06 28 Nov 2004

Hi, I have a Belkin Wireless 802.11b Router/Access Point (F5D7230-4) for my laptop/PC which works fine except that the reception dies half way down my hall. To remedy this I purchased a Netgear ME102 wireless access point to use a repeater half way down my hall. I've installed this fine, but I cannot get the two devices to talk to each other. The Belkin is set up to allow other AP's to connect however I am unsure as to what settings to use on the Netgear AP? Do I set it to act as a Wireless Bridge and enter the Mac Address of the router or do I set up the IP address as if ir was a computer on the network? I'm very confused and any help would be much appreciated. Cheers.
