I have three rows of pins on my DFI m/b and I could not make it work no matter how I tried. Any help appreciated. I have looked at the previous post by huggy71 and it gives me some ideas but I am confused by the 3 rows on the m/b.

Got a DFI manula right here - with three rows of pins!!!

Look at the header as with two rows of five at the top, and a row of four at the bottom

bottom left corner is pin1

middle row left hand end is pin6

top row left hand end is pin 11

Pin5 is the missing pin

1 ≡ Vcc (5v) : 2 ≡ Data2- : 3 ≡ Data2+ : 4 ≡ Gnd

6 ≡ Vcc (5v) : 7 ≡ Data3- : 8 ≡ Data3+ : 9 ≡ Gnd

11 ≡ Gnd : 12 ≡ Gnd : 13 ≡ Data2+ : 14 ≡ Data2- : 15 ≡ Vcc

As you can see, you only need to use 2 rows, either the bottom and middle, or top and middle - it's an attempt to make a "universal" header, I imagine.

Thanks Diesee. Will try this and come back if necessary. Probably not today as lots to tend to.
