I have a hand me down laptop this Christmas which can see my wireless router but the only way I can get a connection is to switch on Microsoft's Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC). However this is not on by default when I switch on the laptop each day and also it disconnects when when laptop goes into sleep mode. Please can anyone help me set the WZC to be on by default
Thanks
Peter

Start, Run, enter

services.msc

and click OK. Scroll down to Wireless Zero Configuration, double click it, change the Startup Type to Automatic then click the Start button.

Go to Start - Run - type services.msc and click OK. In Services window scroll down to WZC and right-click - select Properties. Against StartUp Type select Automatic, and then click Start under Service Status if not already running. Click Apply and then OK.
