Wireless USB Network adapter

I have a laptop and I am not connected to the internet but there are lots of hotpots around. but cannot connect would a Wireless USB Network adapter help me to connect?

Yes you need a USB Dongle, probable the Three Dongle is best!

That is possible, there are plenty of free hotspots, just saying that not all are free. If you go to the library, I am sure they will tell you about local free hotspots.

But there are no Free Dongles!!

If you mean the local free BTopenzone type of hotspot then yes, a wireless USB/PC card will help you connecting.

But make sure you have a good firewall & antivirus programs and stop all filesharing functions on your Laptop/PC.

I think I know what you're on about this time, you'll need this or similar click here to connect to free wifi hotspot.

An ordinary wireless USB adapter won't work.
