Wireless switch not working

  alyssa07 03:06 18 Dec 2008

My wireless switch light turns from orange to blue when it is turned on, I tried turning it on today and it doesnt change colors and the wireless isnt picking up any networks, which leads me to believe it is broken... how can i fix it and if I have to take it in to get looked at, around how much would it cost?

The switch only turn on the Wireless Card Antenna you have to also Enable the Wireless Area

Connection card

Check that the wireless card is Enable from inside the Network Connections Area

Start-Setting-Network Connection-Right click Wireless Network Connection-Enable or Disable

as required

Some times you have to Disable and Enable before the card will connect to the wireless system

There is also no need to keep turning off the Wireless Antenna to disconnect from the router

wireless system right click on the wireless icon in the task bar and click Disable

To restart the wireless system – Setting – Network Connection – Right click on the Wireless

Network Connection and click Enable
