My devices almost certainly use the old G standard ( over 4 years old ! ). Is the N standard backward compatible with the old standard and what should I look out for ? bremner 16:24 31 Dec 2012 It is backward compatible. Do not know what you mean by "what should I look out for" Ian in Northampton 16:28 31 Dec 2012 There's nothing to look out for. Your setup should operate seamlessly, as if everything was to the same standard - it's just that it will perform at the speed of the slowest standard (G). iscanut 16:51 31 Dec 2012 Answer bremner, I seemed to think there were different sorts of the N tech. I am ignorant re wireless issues ! Thanks both. This thread is now locked and can not be replied to.
