Wireless security key ??

  paul654 10:38 09 Feb 2012

Just had 'BT Infinity' installed and it's great. My problem is, every time I turn my PC off/on it forgets my BT Hub wireless key. I have to retype it every time !? Is there something I should 'tick' for it to remember the Key? Never had this prob with my previous router/network. Thanks.

Perhaps not the answer to your question, but do you have a security password saver/remover installed, that's been enabled?.

As far as I know I don't have a password remover installed. Everything was fine before, wish I'd noticed this before the BT Engineer left :-(

Don't know the answer but it may help others if you mentioned what the OS is and whether this is a laptop.

Would it not be simpler to type out the encryption code once into a text document save it to your desktop when you are prompted for it copy paste it into the box, saves a whole lot of typing

Cheers HC
