have BT Total Broadband with BT Hub 7B8A Can I put a better antenna on it in order to get a better signal with laptop

Don't think so, but you can get another wireless router and set it up as a 'repeater' to boost signal strength.

If the antenna can be removed you can install a high gain antenna look at the Hawking Range

Look for Range Extenders. or if you only want it for house consider the 13amp plug type that works through the mains wiring

I have a Belkin ADSL Modem with Wireless G Router.
Could this be used as a range extender with the BT Hub. If so how do you install it.

(Belkin wireless range extender/access point 54mbps)
Would this be suitable along with Bt Hub to get a better wireless range

Will have a read of the manuals and let you know in a bit!

Still digesting all the helpful advice. Would this be okay with BT Hub. It is a lot cheaper than other range extender.(6dBi WiFi Antenna Wireless Range Extender Booster TNC)

If (click here) is the kind of thing you mean, then it probably won't work - i don't think the Home Hub has the right connector on it.
