Wireless network question

  HateGrowth 18:49 17 Nov 2005

i have just moved isp from bt to blueyonder as ive moved house ad my adsl router is now useless i was wondering if as a quick fix to get net upstairs i would be able to make something similar to a crossover cable network using wireless cards if not ill just have to wait till pay day.

why is your "my adsl router is now useless" and how many 'puters do you want to network?

Router shoud work with any ISP once configured.

If it is a combined router and modem it won't work with blueyonder (which needs a cable modem). An ADSL router should work though.

yes i know i wont be able to use it as a modem i was wondering if i could set it up as a wireless access point to share the connection on the main pc

if anyone knows can you explain how?
