Wireless network card/point - probable dumb question

Your PC's motherboard will include as standard the Ethernet port you'll need to connect to the router via cable. The option, if you chose it, would enable you to connect wirelessly. If that's what you want to do - connect wirelessly rather than via a cable - you'd need to order that option. If wired is good enough, don't choose the option.
