Maybe the charger has failed - You can check it with a test meter if you have one - or pop it into a friendly electrical shop and ask them to do it for you (it'll take seconds)

How does the mouse charge?

Is it plugged into a USB port or a seperate charger plugged into a 13A wall socket?

Try the other suggestions first.

If you are still stuck

a)If the mouse was expensive and you would like to keep it buy a cheap battery charger and charge your batteries in it and swop 'em when your need 'em.

Thats what I do, as I can never remember to put the mouse on the charger.

b)Buy a new mouse.
