Wireless Internet for a novice

  Fatbelly 21:15 25 Jan 2010

I have purchased a PC and want to connect to the Internet through a wireless Belkin router.
My PC comes with a 'Network Ready PCIe Gigabit LAN'

Is this all I need inside my PC to connect to the Belkin router? My old PC was wireless but through a USB dongle thingy.

My new PC will be running Win 7, is it easy to set up the wireless connection?

Thanks for looking and any replies.

To connect "wirelessly" you will need to install a Wireless Network Adapter in the PC, either a PCI card internally or, as previously, a USB dongle.

>>> 'Network Ready PCIe Gigabit LAN'

This is not a "wireless" adapter, it is a "wired" ethernet connection that supports data transfer at 1Gbps (1 Gigabit/sec, or 1000 Megabits/sec.)
