Wireless Connection + Notebook Computer

I have a Toshiba Notebook computer which is the only computer we have. Subscriber to BT Broadband Basic @2Mbps. Is it possible to use this as a Wireless Computer i.e take it to any part of the house but still be BB connected. I know this would be possible with a static computer + a laptop via a MODEM/ROUTER but is what I want to do possible. If it is I would like to know what I would need to purchase from Belkin or BT

The situation is no different whether you have "a static computer + a laptop" or just a laptop, you use a combined "Wireless Router & ADSL Modem". If the laptop isn't already "wirelessly enabled", you need to install a Wireless Network Adapter in it - either PCMCIA or USB.

i got my voyager wireless adsl modem from bt for my laptop, the whole thing to set up was done in less than 15 minutes, stuck the CD in the drive, clicked "next" "next" filled in my user name and password, and it came up on the screen " you can now surf the internet" that easy.
