Wireless connection

A few months ago I bought a laptop with wireless internet facilities. I was able to connect to the internet quite easily. For the last few days my laptop cannot find the router no matter how many times I "refresh the network list". This is even when the laptop is only a couple of feet away. My daughter also has a laptop and she can connect anywhere within the house or garden. Is it likely to be a fault with the laptop or have I managed to disconnect something? What can anyone suggest? All thoughts welcomed.
Regards Mike

It would be good advice to update your system to SP2,simply for the extra features sp2 holds, such as the Wireless connection wizard....not to mention your security level will be poor !

SP2 download click here once downloaded, install and go back to click here and visit the update centre.
This will bring your security right upto date.
