I have attempted to uninstall Winfax Pro10 and the uninstall has somehow failed. There are no longer any 'visible' parts of WinFax left (folders ect) but trying to re-install WinFax the program detects the old program and the install fails. How can I find what is left of the original install?

Why do you carry the mark of the beast?

You COULD edit the registry and remove all reference to WinFax, export file first:-)

After a similar problem I found a link to manually uninstall the program. As part of the program has been removed some of the parts to look for may not exist, just remove the ones that do. You are in the registry doing this so make sure you back it up first and know how to restore it if needed.
