I have a Packard Bell Desktop running windows XP media center. When it was turned over the weekend the following message appeared :-

followed by the :-

***STOP 0x000000ED ( 0x86F60728,0xc00000006,0x00000000, 0x00000000 )

Has anybody got any suggestions on what this all means ??

Follow this link and use Option 2

My daughters PB did thre same thing a few months ago.It worked OK using a normal XP installation CD as per the above post.
I think you can use the PB recovery CD to access the Recovery Console if you don't have an XP installation CD.
