Windows XP partition

I have just built a basic PC for my sister, my problem is this:

I always partition drives on my systems so that Windows is on a separate partition from my games/files etc.

However my sister is PC illeterate and will probably fill the 10Gb partition with rubbish wihout realising it. I have so far just created the Windows partition with 70Gb remaining unformatted on the HDD. Can I merge the remaining space with the c:\ partition I have already created so as to remove the need for a d:\ one?

What software might I use for this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Try acronis partition manager; might be part of something else on their site.
I think you can dowload a trial version

Thanks stylehurst, I'll investigate this and post back soon.

The acronis trials are totally functionless other than giving a 'feel' for the program. Any ideas on free partition software?

I don't need huge functionality, just the ability to extend my exisiting partition to the full disk size. I was thinking about Ranish or some other utility. Are these programs safe?

...ended up buying Paragon Partition Manager. 'Tis good as well!
