Windows XP Home send to and zip advice please

OS Win XP Home

2 HDD (master 2 partitions and slave)
In "my computer" is it possible to configure the "send to" option to send a folder to a HDD or partition? (I just want to be able to back up "my documents") too large for a CD.

Also If I use send to zip, it copy?s fine but cannot find or access the file, it is not a hidden file but can only be found by the search facility.

Create a "sendto".

Right click partition in my computer, create shortcut, yes.

Start, run, type:

click ok

Copy and paste the shortcut into the above folder.

For the zip problem, right click, refresh.

Have a look at SendTo16; I use it all the time and find it very good.

Works in all flavours of Windows; free too!.

That has sorted the send to question.

The "zip" problem though is still open.

send to zip works ok if I send any folder except the "My documents" folder in the "My Computer" window, this is accessed directly from "start menu"

I think this has worked in the past but I am not 100% on that.

The zip apparently goes to c: documents and settings!
