Windows XP Home O/S disc or programme wanted.

Hi Guys, need your help again.
Can you advise where I might purchase an English version of Windows XP Home. I have to have this to install over my German version.

Is there anything else I should be aware of whilst doing this?

Thanks in advance of the usual fantastic resposes. Geordielad.

Try e-buyer click here
they sell oem versions at about half the price of a full retail version-hope this helps

are you sure you need it? all versions of windows xp can be set to the language of operation so a german o/s can be set to English.

Howard, there appears no way for this to be done. On the assumption that you have a lap-top yourself, can you revert to German O/S on yours? THanks.

go to control panel - international settings and go to English.

Sorry howard, already tried this. Won't work.

Original Equipment Manufacturer.

OEM. A producer that provides a product to its customers, who proceed to modify or bundle it before distributing it to their customers.

oem - pretty much the same as a full retail version only without the fancy packaging and no support from microsoft, but you'd be pretty unlucky if you needed support.
