Windows XP - Administrator account failure

  [DELETED] 09:29 21 Sep 2003

I went to the "control userpasswords2" screen and changed the administrator account to "admin86" but left the password blank. I then created my account, but inadvertently created it as a guest. I now have the situation where I can only log on to XP as a guest, since when i try to log on to the admin account, it says it cannot log me in "because of an account restriction".

Any ideas on how I could log in as an administrator? - I can't create or change anything without this ability.

Please help

Try using the original password for the Admin account.

Cheers 4 the advice, but I decided to reinstall windows anyway, i may have cocked up some other stuff as well, so i thought it best.
