has anyone got anything good to say about windows vista
i find it very slow to respond to all most everything i do on it.
and that bloody ring going round and round and round
even when im typing i find its missed some of the letters because i think its to busy doing god knows what
how can i stop vista doing stuff in the back ground
90% of the time the hard drive is up to something
even when left for sometime
i just want to turn on my computer and go onto the net, not sit waiting for ten mins waiting for it to start

How long have you had this problem and have you looked on the Vista Forum for a solution?

Have you changed the original set-up much?

Are you able to get at and understand the Task Manager?

where do i find Task Manager

  peter99co 16:00 10 Oct 2008

one way is press ctrl-alt-del...choose start task manager when offered.

Do NOT end any tasks just see what is software is active and which processes are active.
