I just want the other pc as a standalone- and not connect it 2 internet.
I brought it a while ago- and the security/updates for the pc even though its not conencted to the internet- will be outdated.

1) would it be best to update this pc- even though its not conencted 2 the internet?

2)Ive looked on all the links- but they dont show a specifc download for windows updates??

Only microsoft links please

You need to find the Windows Update Catalog.
On your internet pc, go to windows update site, on the left menu, select Use Administrator Options. A new page should open with Windows Update Catalog as an option. The 1st time you do this you will need to be logged in as Admin, and download an Active X Control. After that you should be able to pick the OS you need update for and download them to burn to CD.

Why only MS links?
