My dad likes the facility within wondows to remember words he often types i.e. in google he will start typing a word and it recognises the words he has typed in before. This has stopped all of a sudden - can anyone advise how i get this back?

Hi do you mean the search history, It may be that he has deleted it at some time as you get the option to do so in the drop down, however it builds back up after you start searching in google again.

Once deleted you cant get it back.
Every search you make in the google bar or yahoo or any search bar will keep a history of a search.
