When I run norton system works I find at least two-----every day----of invalid activex/com entries-- in the registry scan
Norton keeps fixing them but Im wondering what I am doing to cause them
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks Bevlee

Blonde moment I guess
Is it a aol problem or a problem with norton ?
I dont have aol but I think what he is saying that aol support stinks
What to do? 64 dollar question

Is there a problem with your 'puter or not?

There was a gentleman who used to post on here who described products such as Norton System Works as scareware, and pointed out that there are zillions of computers that work just fine without their attentions.

If all is working OK I would forget about it. I'm sure we all have invalid registry entries.

My pc is acting up at times and then i run the repair scan it seems to be okay after
I figured the registry error activex was causing it
I guess Ill just have to wait and see
Thanks for your response

Don't worry about Activex problems. Every time I run Nortons System check it finds 15 ActiveX problems, which it fixes. if i run norton again even 30 minutes later it finds 15 problems again.

It hasn't affected my computer at all so I don't worry.
