I've googled to see if I could get a program to get rid of this blight but I don't think I can trust many of the alleged solutions. Any tips?

I googled and found this, I haven't used it so I can't personally recommend it.

I've formatted the PC - too much damage had been done. Thanks for your help.

I got rid of it without reformatting my PC. All you need is mbam plus antivirus program and follow the complete procedures.
