Windows Password

I am trying to get rid of the password on my laptop before i sell it on but I cannot remember how to do it! It is the password required to start up windows as opposed to a password required to access windows once it has started up. I remember setting it up by by accessing the menu during start up but I can't remember now. Thanks.

Need to go into your BIOS, possibly by tapping the F8 key on boot-up. You will then have access to your password. from there you can change or remove the password, if you still remember your current password. j.
