Windows messenger removal

Is their a program or tool that can remove messenger for good, so it NEVER comes back, i have disbaled it in services butit is still running, Rhuddlan.

In XP, Start, Run, type or paste in

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

and click OK.

or control panel add/remove progs left hnd side remove windows applications when it opens scroll down untick messenger ok/close reboot.

Thanks for that, but whenever I exit from msn messenger, a windows messenger icon appears in the taskbar and won't close, i have unchecked the option of windows messenger starting when msn messenger is opened, but windows messenger doesn't seem to want to go away, i have also uninstalled it throgh tweak xp pro 2, any other ideas, regards, Rhuddlan.

If you go here click here and down to Win XP Utilities there is a removal tool.
