When i try to play a DVD, i get the message windows media player had encounted a problem and needs to close, send error report do not send.

Im using Media Player 10.

Should i uninstall media player 9? How can i do this?

Is this the official version from M/S? because as I understand it, 10 should overwrite 9 if you got it as official download from M/S updates.

My media player 9 is mixed in with the xp o/s, so if you have two media players you will get conflicts causing 10 to crash.

I may be totally off beam on this one.

Anybody else!!??........................

I installed WMP10 this morning - no need to uninstall WMP9.

If you click on the WMP.exe in the WMP9 folder you get WMP10!

Is DVD enabled in File Types and do you already have a decoder?
