Windows Mail -Returned Mail Problem

  peter99co 12:08 04 Sep 2008

I am having to send Zip Files to Microsoft and attach them to a mail with an appropriate message

They return undelivered as follows 'This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.'

If I send a normal mail it is delivered normally.
I have turned off AVG outgoing mail checking but still cannot send attachments.

I think it's your email system rejecting zip fies as potentially dangerous. but read this, click here

Thank you for the link. I have informed the Microsoft engineer of my problem and will await his suggestions. I had this problem some weeks ago and after numerous attemps actually succeeded in getting one to go.

I will post if it sorts itself or even post to him the link you have suggested.

I have without changing anything sent an attachment to Microsoft. Strange. It was only a file containing System data. The others rejected where Application Data.
