Windows Mail

I use Windows Mail & on March 1 a number of e-mails I received contained no message, just the following: Message cannot be found
The contents of this message cannot be found.
Windows Mail

Although I know the senders identity the words 'Sender Unspecified' show in the 'From' field.

Can anyone tell me why this should happen as other e-mails I received that day were OK.

This is generally caused by your anti-virus email scanner being incompatible - it's usually best to turn it off. This thread gives you the picture:

One possible solution to reading the "empty" messages is to create a new folder in Windows Mail, and drag and drop the messages onto this folder - when you open the folder it's possible you may be able to then read the messages.

You should also delete and recreate your email account in Windows Mail once you have sorted this, as it will have become corrupted.
