Windows Live Mail

I'm guessing that it may be due to a security issue, but it doesn't seem possible to paste an email address into a new contact record in Windows Live Mail. The only fields which are 'pasteable' are name fields.

Work round anyone?

Works OK for me - presumably you are referring to the Add a Contact pane which appears when you click New?

That's right. I open the add a contact pane and cannot paste the content of my clipboard into any field other than name fields.

Paste (either right-click or Ctrl+V) works on my version of WLM in all the fields. I can't explain why it doesn't work for you.

Just to elaborate, I can achieve the desired result using Ctrl V, just not right click and paste.

I'll mark this as resolved, because I can paste into 'email address' fields, just not by right clicking.
