Windows Live Mail

I am 'trialing' Windows Live mail. (on a notebook running Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit). I have created my own stationery, when I attempt to open my stationery the computer 'Hangs' and I am forced to close live mail. I do have all the Windows updates? I have Word 2000. I have reinstalled Windows 7 Office 2007 & Windows Live Mail with all the latest Windows Updates, the notebook 'hang' when I try and open my new stationery created in Word 2007. When I receive an email I get a message to say the email is corupt! Some time latter, or even the next (OFF-Line EVEN!) day I receive a second copy of the same email that I can open! I reguarly clear out file, off-line files, history and run disk clean clearing files & system files, it is all very strange to me. I have spent several hours looking through Microsoft tech support pages to no avail! Does anyone have any thoughts please.

it is probably a conflict between word 2000 and office 2007

The Word 2000 and the Word 2007 are two 'tests' weeks apart with a 'CLEAN' install. Both versions of were NOT on the machine at the same time!
