Windows Firewall greyed out

  [DELETED] 10:58 29 May 2006

I cannot turn WF on and off as it is greyed out with a message "For your security, some settings are controlled by group policy"

How can I get round this. I don't remember doing it!

No, it doesn't work.

Do what I did. Go to the Microsoft site and type "For your security, some settings are controlled by group policy" into their search box

"This issue occurs because Group Policy in Windows Small Business Server 2003 disables Windows Firewall for client computers that are running Windows XP Professional."

I don't get this. I have a home PC with 2 other computers on a home network running XP Home.
