Forget Windows Firewall - as useful as a chocolate teapot. click here;jsessionid=FN51OdJ1kj5DMOYcV1MqTXQ0JboKEqgCmVRY2EifJAIdthGKv53x!-2046482805!-1062696903!7551!7552!NONE?dc=12bms&ctry=GB&lang=en instead.

"....has been very lucky and never been attacked..."

That's hardly "unbelievable". And in the unlikely event that some script kiddie wanted to have a go at his IP, the ICF is not likely to stop it. If he wants to use a firewall, give him something decent and free. click here

surely i thought windows fire wall was in xp windows and you should be able to use it

  Stuartli 22:33 17 Sep 2006

Yes, you could use it....

But you would/will be protected at least 100 per cent better by using, for instance, ZoneAlarm (free version). See:

For your information, to confirm above, from the Kerio website:

"Windows XP firewall gives many people a false sense of security as it does not block information going out of your PC.

"The bottom line: Your credit card numbers, passwords, account information and more could be sent from your PC to a hacker without the XP firewall even detecting the breach."

Still want to use it?
