Windows Explorer page fault

Help. I am running W98SE with current virus scanning but recently on start up receive the Windows Explorer Message that there is a fault and refer to supplier. If I ignore all appears to work correctly except ctrl/alt/delete does not work. If I check the message details I reveive the following EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in module DRCNDI.DLL at 0167:00fb78b0. Registers: EAX=01687c44 CS=0167 EIP=00fb78b0 EFLGS=00010246 EBX=00000000 SS=016f ESP=0167f82c EBP=01687c78 ECX=01687c44 DS=016f ESI=00000003 FS=2c67 EDX=0a000000 ES=016f EDI=00000001 GS=0000 Bytes at CS:EIP: 8b 02 3a 01 75 2e 0a c0 74 26 3a 61 01 75 25 0a Stack dump: 00faa6f9 0a000000 01687c44 bff92d08 00000090 00000000 0000000c 00000008 00000003 00000000 68284faa 11d06a48 c000788c b418d94f 000001f0 000004e0 this lets ctrl/alt/delete work but nothing else and I need to close down and restart. On windows start the computer reads Starting windows for the first time, loading drivers etc.

I have run SFC with the installation disc and repaied all available files, there were lots not available but still have the problem.
