Windows Error unresolved

Since I put a wireless net connection to my w98sp2 pc I have been getting error message- "system file replaced with earlier versions by a prog recently ran. These files in use & cannot be repaired. Windows will not start correctly till you exit & restart etc
"windows\system\DDEML.DLL" . Have restarted several times but problem persists. Any ideas please

When you receive this error there is a possibility that the ddeml.dll file was replaced by another version of the same name. Use the SFC windows utility to extract the original version from the Windows 98 CD disk.

Even though system seems to restore, when SD & restarted the problem returnes....

Have you tried uninstalling the program that added the dll file, you could do a search for the file delete it and then replace it off the 98 cd with the SFC.
