I've just got done with some clearing out and noticed that for the last two weeks that Windows Defender has been creating checkpoints sometimes four to five a day which in turn creats a system restore point. Can anyone tell me if this is normal behavior for Defender or should I do something about it? It seems strange that it would do this or am I worrying about nothing? J.B.

I changed the amount of space for system restore some while back to 3% (1075Mb) instead of the 12% that was set as default. Would the value of 3% be good enough or should I reset to 12% and let Defender eat up the space? J.B.

I think I will leave it a 3% and not worry about Defender. J.B.
