Could someone tell this old duffer how to reset the clock in the taskbar please. Thanks. Daunted

Right click time in the taskbar, and left click the 2nd option in the pop-up "Adjust Date/Time" and there you go, you can now do what you will

Hey thanks for the speedy reply Enoch. Thanks. Daunted

After you have adjusted the time click on the time zone tab and put a tick against automatically adjust clock for daylight savings changes. Make sure you have selected the correct time zone.

Click on the internet time tab and put tick against automatically synchronize with an Internet time server. This should keep the time correct.

Is it slowly losing time?

Thanks for the added info Bryn. Cheers Daunted

If so it could be the CMOS battery, click here

I didn't know how to reset the clock after being informed to turn the clock back one hour 'UK time'. Shall take note of your advice regarding the CMOS Battery though. Thanks. Daunted

If you follow the advice given by BRYNIT you will not need to adjust the clock manually, it will do it automatically for you.
